About us

Hello! My name is Emma, Owner and creator at The Littlest sewing room on social media. I have a real passion for chainstitch embroidery machines and the beautiful work you can produce on them.
When I started my chainstitch embroidery journey a few years ago, it quickly became apparent sourcing a machine and everything I needed to set up and use my machine wouldn't be as easy as I first thought!! over a period of two years I researched machines, trying to find something within my budget before settling on importing a new machine head from Falak enterprises in deli. Once I received my machine, I set about trying to source a industrial table top, which turned into one of the most frustrating tasks!! In the end I bought a second hand pine table and cut my own top. Once I had my table, machine and motor assembled it was time to learn how to use these amazing machines with the help of Saim Hussain from Falak and various you tube videos.
having masted the basics, with the thread that came with my machine, I need thread for my projects. Once again this proved harder than you would have thought! The only embroidery thread available in the UK that I could find was designed for use with computerised embroidery machines and to fine. once again I turned to Falak and settled on the silk rayon thread that they source.
Once I felt competent with my machine, I started to produce my own You Tube content around chainstitch embroidery machines. I started to receive a LOT of messages from all over the world asking for help, either from people interested in learning these machines, but struggling with finding the right machine for them, people who had purchased a machine, but were struggling to set it up or experienced chainstitchers looking for parts or threads.
Hence the idea of The Littlest Sewing room Emporium was born. Working hand in hand with Falak and BSM, our specialist supplier of vintage machines, we have created a one stop shop for chainstitch embroidery machines, parts and supplies, supported with great customer service and one to one support to help beginners or more experienced chainstitches get the best from their machines.
Falak embroidery machines is a family business that has been operating for approximately 50 years. Saim's father, Mr. Akhlaq Hussain, started this venture as a mechanic, initially manufacturing only spare parts. Over time, They progressed to manufacturing complete machines and established the Falak brand.
Falak are proud to say that our machines are handmade, with meticulous attention to detail. Each machine undergoes a three-step quality check, taking weeks to complete. After assembly, machines are tested for two days before final stitching and packaging.
